It was bound to happen. The gastropub gem of Orange — heck Orange County – is expanding.That's how friend of Haven, reporter Nancy Luna from The Orange County Register, starts off her piece on our plans to expand to a second location later this year.
The uber-hip Haven Gastropub is opening a second restaurant in Pasadena. Since debuting in fall 2009 in Old Towne Orange, the Haven has been favorably reviewed up an down the foodie blogosphere — from mainstream media to hard-to-please haute cuisine snobs. Part of its allure: top-notch gourmet pub grub alongside some of the some the best craft brew selections in the region.
So I guess it makes sense that the Haven plans to conquer the foodie metropolis of Pasadena. The second location, near Colorado Boulevard in a space once occupied by near Colorado Boulevard in a space once occupied by Brix 42, will open later this year — possibly in the fall.
